for items by title, author, subject, journal title, keyword, shelfmark
etc. Omit "The" and other articles from the beginning of titles. |

search using keywords anywhere in the catalogue record, or only in
specific fields. Recommended if you are unsure of the exact details of the item you want; also for author/title searches. |
